PARLIAMENTARY COMMITTEES SERIES 7/2014

Committee business suspended from Monday 17th to Thursday 20th February
There will be no thematic or portfolio committee meetings next week.  The
reason for the suspension of committee business was given in announcements
made by the presiding officers in both Houses on 12th February:
"Committees would be suspended from 17th to 20th February, 2014 to enable
Chairpersons of Committees to attend the Presiding Officers/Liaison and
Coordination Committee Retreat scheduled for the 16th to the 19th February,
2014, at Amber Hotel in Mutare"
The Liaison and Coordination Committee
This Committee is made up of all Committee Chairpersons, Party Whips and
their Deputies and the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Women's
Caucus. The Committee is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of all
Committee business and it is the custodian of Parliamentary reforms.
